Fall
Baseball: Thank
you for your interest in fall baseball. Whether you
attended tryouts or not you must register to be placed
on a team. Even if you were at the fall baseball tryouts
and signed in you will not be considered registered
unless you register through the Park District. You can
register on line at gepark.org or in person at the Main
or Spring Avenue Park District offices. If you did not
tryout you can still register and you will be placed
on a team. The cut off for registration
is July 1, 2008. Anyone signing up after this
will be placed on a waiting list. We will form teams
and select coaches after July 1. We will notify players
and coaches of team assignments at the end of July.
We will have a schedule made in early August.

Little
League Elbow:
Recently, a player
in the Mustang (5th & 6th grade) league was diagnosed
with Little League Elbow.
Over the last several years, Glen Ellyn Youth baseball
has made strides to become more sensitive to overuse of
young arms through our pitching rules and concerns about
too many games, leagues and innings pitched.
Although the Mustang League player was diagnosed early
and will most likely make a full recovery, he is out for
the season.
