Glen Ellyn Youth Baseball is Expanding its Travel Program and Partnering with the White Sox Academy! 

Glen Ellyn Youth Baseball is excited to announce a professional instructional relationship with the White Sox Academy to expand its full time travel program. Some of the best professional instruction in the area will help the Glen Ellyn community develop their baseball talents and prepare for a more competitive experience, both at the travel level, and eventually, high school (and beyond). As previously announced, Glen Ellyn Baseball is expanding its Full Time Rangers Travel Program to include teams at the 10U, 11U and 12U levels to complement our 13U and 14U teams. Now, with the support of the White Sox Training Academy, the newly expanded Rangers program will be the only Glen Ellyn travel baseball team to offer a unique experience that will include: 

• Pre-season and In-season instruction by members of the White Sox Academy
• Professional team evaluations by members of the White Sox Academy 
• Use of the new indoor White Sox Academy training facility at Ackerman Sports and Fitness Complex 
• Games played on the newly renovated, baseball only fields located at the Village Green complex in Glen Ellyn.
• 10U, 11U & 12U will play around 40 games. 13U & 14U will play more.

We are also excited that the White Sox Academy will offer exceptional training to our house league players. Whether it is additional pitching, hitting or fielding instruction, the White Sox Academy will offer camps and training for all of our Glen Ellyn athletes.

Attention all Glen Ellyn Ranger managerial candidates: Click here to fill out application form for managing either the full-time 10U, 11U & 12U Ranger travel baseball teams. You will be notified by GEYBA whether you will be invited to conduct an in-person interview. Interviews will take place over the next two weeks.  

Congratulations to the 12U Rangers travel team coached by Steve Lutz and Keith Marks which won the Woodale tournament last month. After wins against Hoffman Estates 17-7, Woodale 17-2 and Bellwood 15-5 they went on to beat Glenside 13-7 for the Championship. The team has won two more tournaments since then. Good work guys!
