Newton Park - Important Parking & Traffic Information

As a result of feedback from neighbors surrounding Newton Park, the following traffic and parking restrictions have been put into place:

Parking lots for all practices/games are located within Newton Park.

• Northwest corner of the park adjacent to the playground (Fairview Avenue & Exmoor Avenue)

• Northeast corner of the park adjacent to the tennis courts (Fairview Avenue & Carleton Avenue)

• East side of the park adjacent to the basketball court (Carleton Avenue)

• South side of the park adjacent to Brookdale Glen Ellyn (DuPage Avenue)

Additional parking is available at Stahelin Properties to the south of the park off of DuPage Boulevard.

Please be respectful of the neighbors and use the Newton Park lots for parking. DO NOT park on side streets or cul de sacs in the neighborhood. Police WILL TICKET any parking violators.

Pick-up/drop off is PROHIBITED along Fairview Avenue and in the cul de sacs. Participants should be dropped off (if needed) in one of the parking lots and then walk to their practice/game location and should be picked up in those same lots.

The Glen Ellyn Park District, along with the Glen Ellyn Golden Eagles Football, Glen Ellyn Bulldogs Lacrosse, Glen Ellyn Youth Baseball, and Glen Ellyn Rugby programs are committed to working with the community to improve and diminish the traffic impact surrounding Newton Park.

Please help us show that we are responsive, cooperative and respectful.
